Bullshit Detector is a San Antonio, Texas-based punk band formed in 2019. They are best known for blending gritty working-class Oi! with coldwave, post-punk, and goth—a signature sound they affectionately call "thugwave"

Their songwriting relies on sharp guitars, rugged and desperate-sounding vocals, and melodic cold-wave elements. Lyrically, the band focuses on heavy themes like mental illness, addiction, death, and working-class struggles so wether your punk, hardcore, skinhead or goth they got a little bit of something mixed in to appease everyone!
