The Bulls are proud to host our third annual Big Freeze round, raising vital funds in the fight against MND in honour of our great mate, life member and club legend Graham ‘Doc’ Hibbert.Doc embodied the Bulls spirit - a 2015 premiership player, former committee member, loyal supporter and a leader on and off the field. He kept our playing group connected in the off‑season, organised the club scoreboard (retired only last year) and created our honour board. Doc was an integral part of our club, and we sadly lost him to MND last year.
This year we’re fundraising for the Racing for MNDi Foundation, where Doc was a patron. The foundation gave him hope, purpose validation and helped him keep a positive mindset. And now it's our turn to give back.
HOW IT WORKS
Six participants will take on the ice‑bucket challenge.
Two fundraising auctions will decide how it all unfolds, with all proceeds going to Racing for MNDi:
Auction 1 – Outfits:
As our first four dunkee are revealed, you can bid to choose their costume (family‑friendly). Highest bid wins.
Two additional spots are open where the highest bidders choose both the dunkee and their outfit.
Auction 2 – Throwers:
On the day, all six throwing spots will be auctioned. Highest bidders get the honour.
Nominations and bids open as dunkees are announced, and close 10pm Thursday 28 May.
NEW THIS YEAR
Our Bulls will run out in special Big Freeze jumpers thanks to Mineral Mining Services.
All players will also wear Big Freeze 12 socks, with proceeds going to FightMND.
