Built With LOVE: From Ideas to Impact is a free 3 day science, innovation, and entrepreneurship summer camp for Detroit youth, hosted by Detroit CHEMpreneurIST in partnership with The LOVE Building.

Students will explore how creativity, science, problem-solving, and entrepreneurship can be used to turn ideas into real community impact. Through hands-on activities, youth will identify needs, imagine solutions, build or design concepts, and share their ideas with others.

Camp will take place July 20 to 22, 2026 at The LOVE Building, located at 4731 Grand River Ave., Detroit, MI 48208.

Two age-based sessions are available:

Grades 3 to 5
9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Light breakfast and snack included.

Grades 6 to 12
1:00 PM to 4:30 PM
Light lunch and snack included.

Younger students will focus on creative problem-solving, hands-on exploration, and building confidence as young innovators. Older students will explore more advanced ideas connected to entrepreneurship, design, community impact, branding, and pitching.

Registration is required, and limited spots are available. Please register by July 17.

Please complete one registration per student. A parent or guardian should complete the registration form and provide accurate contact information so Detroit CHEMpreneurIST can send follow-up details before camp.

Families may receive follow-up information before camp, including final confirmation, arrival instructions, permissions, food needs, accessibility needs, emergency contact details, and dismissal information.
