Built to Survive Protest: NCMA Alamo October Membership Meeting
About this Event
Will your next award decision hold up if it's protested?
The ground under federal awards is moving. The FAR rewrite is changing clauses and procedures contracting officers rely on, a new executive order is reshaping fixed-price contracting, and a recent court ruling involving Anthropic is raising new questions about how the government buys AI.
Join the NCMA Alamo Chapter for our October membership meeting with Ronald D. Sullivan, Senior Counsel for Government Contracts at Clark Hill, Brigadier General in the U.S. Army Reserve, and former Chief Judge of the U.S. Army Court of Criminal Appeals.
BG Sullivan will cover:
- Where contract awards fall apart, and how to build decisions that survive protest
- What the FAR rewrite and the new fixed-price executive order mean for contracting officers
- What the recent Anthropic court ruling means for buying AI
After his remarks, Chris Finkenstadt will moderate an audience Q&A.
Who should attend: contracting officers (COs/KOs), contract specialists, acquisition and program staff, contract managers, capture and proposal teams, and counsel. Government and industry are both welcome, and you don't need to be an NCMA member.
This session is CLP/CPE eligible.
Seating is limited, so please register early.
