About Gijs Verheijke

Gijs (pronounced like “guys”) is a Dutch entrepreneur and sneakerhead since age 10. After starting his career in finance at The Carlyle Group, he moved to Asia in 2015 for Rocket Internet. For the next couple of years he lived in Bangladesh, Myanmar, Indonesia and Singapore to launch and scale consumer marketplaces across the region.
