BUILDING THE BOOK: Jacqueline Wilson in Conversation with Nick Sharratt
About this Event
Jacqueline and Nick met shortly after she had written The Story of Tracy Beaker, and what followed was an expansive thirty-year period of collaboration. An author and illustrator creating some of the most iconic children's literature, developing a uniquely close and cooperative relationship as they did - and now long-time friends. This event looks to explore the unique relationship between author and illustrator: how the two worked together to 'build the book', and in doing so brought literature to life for their young readers.
