About this Event
Class Description
Runner’s prepare! Join sports chiropractors Dr. Bryan Kent and Dr. Ryan Deighan as they lead you through this multi-part class to get you ready for your best spring race season. Together, we’ll help you build your body’s resilience to the impact of running while boosting your general physical preparedness for your race. We’ll hit it all – knees, glutes, ankles, everything.
You’ll begin your class with some evidence-based mobility drills – did you know that your mobility is more than just your flexibility? We’ll get your nerves and joints working through their functional range of motion. You’ll learn more about why you are targeting this area of the body and myth-busting some things you may have heard in the past. Finally, the bulk of the class will be a strength-focused workout flow, during which Bryan and Ryan will lead you through strength drills to keep you tuned up and injury-free during your training. Hang out afterwards for some food and good vibes and maybe some treatment!
