Building Sand Dunes - Help Install Our New Demonstrative Coastal Rain Garden

Join us at Tiana Bayside Facility in Hampton Bays for a fun and unique experience helping our habitat specialists build sand dunes for our new Demonstrative Coastal Rain Garden. This event counts toward community service hours! Participants will learn about the importance of sand dunes, the native plant species that ensure their success, and the role these plants play in filtering storm water before it enters the bay. Let's work together to create a beautiful, ecologically diverse, and educational space for everyone to enjoy. No experience necessary - just bring your enthusiasm and a willingness to get your hands dirty! See you there!
