Building Safety Act Presentation

In this CPD Paul will talk about compliance with the Act, the importance of demonstrating competence at all levels, what we need to consider when work is under Building Regulations and some of the documents now required as part of the Higher-Risk Building procedures.

Speaker's biography: A Chartered Construction Manager, Paul has been in operational management roles for over 38 years. He is a Fellow and Trustee of the CIOB, the respected professional body representing 50,000 members around the globe.

In his role as Head of Operational Excellence at Equans, Paul has been working with colleagues to ensure compliance with the Building Safety Act 2022.

“We have updated our management systems to incorporate the Act into our day to day work and we’ve also co-authored a ‘BSA Awareness’ eLearn Course both for internal use and made available to the wider industry via CIOB Academy”.
