Building Queer Community Partnerships in 2026 and Beyond

As our communities face rising homophobia and transphobia, creating spaces for connection, healing, and collaboration is more important than ever. This gathering will bring community members together through conversation, shared learning, and hands-on activities that support substance use prevention while strengthening relationships across our communities.

Event Agenda:

• 11:00am to 11:05am: Welcome (5 minutes)
• 11:05am to 11:15am: Mental Health Exercise (10 minutes)
• 11:15am to 12:00pm: Tea Making and Natural Remedies to Help with Addiction (45 minutes)
• 12:00pm to 12:40pm: Lunch (40 minutes)
• 12:40pm to 12:55pm: Interview with Special Guest (15 minutes)
• 12:55pm to 1:45pm: CA LGBTQ LGBTQ+ HHS Network Poster Session (50 minutes)
• 1:45pm to 2:00pm - Reflections and Closing (15 minutes)
