Building Meaningful Community Engagement
About this Event
Are you ready to help individuals experiencing disabilities consciously cultivate deep roots and a true sense of belonging in their local communities?
Led by renowned disability advocate and author Dr. Al Condeluci, this intensive hybrid training equips your staff with actionable, macro-oriented strategies to shatter isolation for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). This training gives your team the exact blueprint to shift from traditional, segregated services to viable, relationship-driven inclusion.
Organizations are encouraged to send multiple attendees to form a collaborative internal team. Together, your will embark on a three-phase journey starting in: an interactive virtual masterclass, three dedicated coaching blocks, and an in-person evaluation session. You won't just sit through a lecture; you will actively learn how to map local community assets, identify genuine participant affinities, and physically connect the people you support to authentic social networks.
