Jason Chacko is a Financial Advisor with more than 15 years of experience in wealth management. He holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® (CFP), Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist® (CRPS), and Portfolio Manager Designations. He is devoted to his church, The Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, as well as the Rotary Club of Little Rock. Jason is a Board Member for Camp Aldersgate, the Boy Scouts of America Pinnacle District, the CARTI Foundation Board and the Catholic High School Foundation Board. Jason and his wife, Kristin, have two boys, Jude and Lee, as well as their Hunt Terrier, Darrow.
Carmen Smith, Senior Legal Counsel, DataPath, Inc. and Board Member, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation
Carmen Smith earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock’s William H. Bowen School of Law. Carmen serves as Senior Corporate Counsel for DataPath, Inc. She joined the Board of Commissioners for Central Arkansas Water in the summer of 2010 and is serving her third seven-year term. Her public service includes the Arkansas Children's Hospital Auxiliary, the University of Arkansas at Little Rock Bowen School of Law Alumni Association, and her passion: fundraising, speaking and volunteering for the Arkansas Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, where she also serves on the nonprofit's Leadership Board. She is an avid runner and also enjoys hiking, camping, fishing and exploring the beautiful state of Arkansas with her husband and son.
Marla Hambuchen, Director of Development, Major & Legacy Giving, Conway Regional Health Foundation
Marla Hambuchen, a graduate of Hendrix College, is a results-driven Director of Development at Conway Regional Health Foundation with experience in major and legacy giving, as well as a strong background in special events, capital campaign management, and non-profit leadership. Over the course of her 15-year fundraising career, Marla has held pivotal roles, including Special Event Manager, Interim Foundation Director, Major Gift Executive and Campaign Manager, where she successfully leveraged her expertise in relationship-building, strategic planning, and project management.
Kristin Croone, JD, Senior Consultant, Sharpe Group, panel member and moderator
Kristin is a Sharpe Group senior consultant with expertise in planned giving, major gift and other estate gift administration and gift planning strategies. She has previously worked as an associate in tax and estate planning in Cleveland, Ohio, and Memphis, Tennessee, and as the Director of Planned giving and legal counsel for The Community Foundation of Greater Memphis. She brings valuable experience in donor stewardship as well as tax and estate planning law. Kristin is a graduate of Vanderbilt University and the Case Western Reserve University School of Law.
