Join us at the Furman Innovation Lab for our first-ever Social Innovation Workshop—an opportunity to explore bold ideas that address our community’s most pressing challenges.

Led by Sarah McKinley, a veteran urban planner with the Democracy Collaborative, this free, two-hour workshop will introduce you to the innovative model of Community Wealth Building (CWB). CWB is a powerful and growing approach to economic development that focuses on building local wealth, fostering economic equality, and creating lasting transformation in communities across the U.S. and around the world.

During this session, you’ll:

• Learn how CWB can tackle economic inequalities and wealth disparities in Greenville.

• Discover strategies that empower communities by keeping wealth local and inclusive.

• Collaborate in an engaging mapping activity to begin envisioning CWB as part of Greenville’s future.
