Building Birdhouses [Woodshop Authorization] @ IRL1

MUST BE DEPAUL STUDENT, FACULTY, OR ALUMNI TO ATTEND.

Attendees must wear close-toed shoes, may be asked to remove jewelry, and must tie up/tie back long hair or loose clothing.

This workshop is an introduction to woodshop and is designed for beginners. No prior experience necessary! The workshop will take about 2-3 hours and will have a 10 minute break in the middle.

In this workshop, you will learn how to make a bird house to learn basics and safety of handling the woodshop tools and machinery! Every attendee will leave with a bird house of their own. With this workshop you will earn an authorization to use the machines.

Although the Woodshop Authorization Workshop is only held in IRL 1, by getting an authorization you may use the machines at any time during our open hours at either location when machines are available.
