About this Event
This Fall, the City of Nelson will be hosting a series of workshops with internationally renowned embodied carbon specialist Chris Magwood. These free workshops are open to anyone interested in learning more about low-carbon construction and will be hosted in person at the Nelson and Area Chamber of Commerce Community Meeting Room with Chris Magwood joining the group virtually.
These identical introductory workshops will be hosted on October 4th and 24th from 8 to 10am. They will explore what embodied carbon emissions are, why they are important, how Nelson performs compared to others in Canada, and what strategies exist to reduce embodied carbon emissions in building projects.
The more advanced workshop will be hosted on October 11th from 12-2pm. Sign up here.
