Lisa has made her way through the comedy scene to become an internationally touring comedian and WGA TV writer before ever getting representation. This crash course will teach you how to navigate the scene and build up a lasting career in comedy. Each student will have the opportunity to perform a five-minute set in this class to get personal feedback on their set. Lisa will also talk to each student individually about strategizing the next steps for their career.
Lisa Curry is an internationally touring standup comedian and TV writer, best known for her work on the Jim Jefferies Show on Comedy Central. Her debut album, 'Alive For a While' was recorded live in London and her podcast, 'Long Story Long'' launched on Sirius XM this year. This Fall she goes on tour as opening act for Jim Jefferies.
