This workshop is broken down into four parts.
Be brave enough to learn how to understand the dark so we can bring the light.
1. The Impetus to Change: The love we have for our community, its members, and why we are here!
2. Members of our community are asking for help and we will not ignore them! Being Socialized “Male” in a Patriarchy, our role in failing the people we love and sitting with uncomfortable feelings!
3. Clear, Enthusiastic, and Ongoing Consent: What is it? What does it look like? Vibes Establish Interest but CONVERSATIONS Build Connection!
4. Accountability and taking steps towards Restorative Justice: What do we do now?
We will touch on topics of the Culture of Escalation, Safe Sex and Harm Reduction, Being accused of predatory behaviour, Understanding how male bodies take up space etc
