Looking to connect with amazing women in the construction industry while also supporting an incredible organization? buildHER is introducing its Social Series with an awesome in-person meetup at Alley Cat, a locally owned cocktail bar in downtown Kalamazoo. We'll be collecting donations on behalf of YWCA Kalamazoo to help support our local community.
Whether you're all about building ideas, sharing stories, looking for industry connections or just making new friends, this is your spot if you're a woman in design, construction, or just looking for a new crew. Come hang out, enjoy some good vibes, and let’s make magic happen together!

Collections for YWCA Kalamazoo

We're collecting donations on behalf of the YWCA, a local organization who supports the needs of women and families. At this time, our most urgent and critical needs are:

Urgent Needs

• Women's deodorant
• Women's underwear (sizes XS–3X)
• Women's bras (all sizes)
• Women's socks

Other Critical Needs

• Feminine hygiene products (pads and tampons)
• Shampoo and conditioner
• Body wash and soap
• Toothpaste and toothbrushes
• Laundry detergent
• Household cleaning supplies
• Diapers and wipes
• Paper towels and toilet paper

These items are in constant demand and are distributed directly to women in the shelter and supportive housing programs. Contributions of these essential items make an immediate and meaningful impact on the individuals that YWCA serves.
