Milford Buchanan just retired as the builder at the Shelburne Dory Shop. He was only the 5th builder since the shop was founded in the 1870s making it the purest dory building tradition alive today. The presenter built a dory with Milford in 2023 and recorded the process for an upcoming publication.”
