About Panelists:
is the Co-Founder and CEO of Epilogue Wills, Canada’s leading online estate planning platform. A former tax and estate planning lawyer, Daniel recognized the need for a simpler, more accessible way for Canadians to create Wills and Powers of Attorney. In 2019, he co-founded Epilogue with the mission of making estate planning easy, affordable, and convenient. Since 2022, Daniel and his team have been working closely with charities across Canada to help them strengthen their planned giving programs. By integrating online Wills into their fundraising strategies, organizations like World Vision, the Canadian Cancer Society, the Toronto Foundation, and many more have been able to increase legacy giving and drive long-term impact.
has over 17 years of experience in the financial industry and is a Partner and Wealth Advisor at CC&L Private Capital. Her practice guides and works with charitable foundations and high-net-worth clients to achieve their unique financial goals and strategies. Strategic philanthropy is also an important part of Candice’s client conversations, and she is passionate about helping clients identify values and areas where philanthropy can play a role. She has extensive experience helping business owners, generational families, and women further their financial positioning and legacy.
Candice also plays a leading role in the charitable community. She is the current President of the University of Toronto Alumni Association and one of the founders of the UHN Foundation – UHN Impact Collective. She is also a member of the Canadian Association of Gift Planners and leads engagement and mentorship for professional advisors across Canada.
