Build your own Winter Container Workshop

Get into the holiday spirit with Green Venture!
Join us at Sanford Hall located in Westinghouse HQ for our Winter Container Workshop!

This workshop is a fundraiser where funds will go towards helping replace plants/add new plants to our past garden sites around Hamilton.

Green Venture is a community-based non-profit organization committed to helping residents live more sustainably at home, at work, and in their daily lives. We provides presentations in schools, in the community and at EcoHouse, directly reaching nearly 15,0000 people every year. Green Venture replaced concrete areas with green spaces all over Hamilton and we need funds to keep these green spaces vibrant!
In this workshop we will guide you step-by-step on how to build your very own container with local fresh greens. Everything will be provided including:

• 11.5 inch biodegradeable container (perfect size to fit in most outdoor pots!)
• Soil for your container
• 3 bundles of greens, 1 bundle of dogwood
• Decorations (number of decorations based on design choice)
• Green Venture will provide gloves and pruners to be used for the duration of the workshop
  There are two options available depending on how many decorations you would like for your container:
  Standard: $70 includes pine cones, berries, and a holiday themed pick
  Deluxe: $80 includes more pine cones, berries, and a holiday themed pick
