Valentines Keepsake Box

This one-step puzzle box is perfect as an unforgettable ringbox or as an elegant way to hide small valuables. Cut from 3mm balsa wood, the lock box is lightweight and slightly larger than a standard ring box. This kit includes all of the materials and tools necessary to build your Keepsake Box and comes with an optional foam ring-holder.

During the workshop we will be assembling the box, locking mechanism, and sliding drawer. Materials and tools we'll be using are 3mm wood, Glue, Sandpaper, Clamps, and Magnets. No crafting experience is necessary as we'll walk you through each step of the process.

Optionally, stick around after the workshop is done and add a splash of color with our quick-drying ink sets. Ask the instructor any burning questions you have and check out some of our additional handmade valentine gifts!

About the Instructor

Colby spent nearly a decade in the escape room industry before founding Perspective Studios, a lasercutting and woodworking shop focussed on providing similar props and experiences in a home environment. Along with puzzle boxes, Colby enjoys crafting board games (including his original TinyTinGames Collection), Tabletop RPG accessories, and various home decor items.
