Children ages 6 to 12 are invited to build their own spacecraft using the Design, Build, Test activity from the National Institute for STEM Education network and build and launch stomp rockets. Designed by Explore Science for imaginative play, these activities invite participants to explore the different purposes of spacecrafts while engineering their own.

The City of Sierra Vista is partnering with the Patterson Observatory and Huachuca Astronomy Club, with support from NASA, to provide unique educational and recreational programming for people of all ages and abilities around the fall launch of the James Webb Space Telescope!
