With countless years at the helm of the bar programs of some of Ottawa's finest restaurants, Daniel Hacker embodies the modern expert mixologist. This star has commanded the bar program at restaurants like North & Navy and Fairouz, and is now at the wonderful Sidecar from the clever minds that brought Ottawa the restaurant Mati. Daniel will take us through how to build the most comprehensive bar at home highlighting the right tools, the variations of serving ware and of course, no class would be complete without some cocktails, expertly made by Daniel himself.
Along with discussing and dissecting what makes the perfect bar, Daniel will also be showing how to mix the perfect stirred cocktail, the perfect straight up cocktail and the perfect shaken cocktail.
