About the Facilitator
Svetlana Sapelova is a frontend developer with over a decade of experience building digital products across startups, tech companies, and research institutions.
She currently works at BISON App, where she focuses on creating user-friendly, high-performing interfaces that support scalable product development. Her work sits at the intersection of design and engineering, helping turn complex ideas into intuitive digital experiences.
Svetlana’s background spans both frontend and backend development, with previous roles at companies such as Cofound.it and ResponsiveAds. She began her career working in data and backend systems before transitioning into frontend development, giving her a strong technical foundation across the full product stack.
Earlier in her career, she worked as a researcher at the Jožef Stefan Institute, contributing to the STORK 2.0 project, a European initiative focused on cross-border digital identity and authentication systems.
With experience across multiple countries and industries, Svetlana brings a practical, hands-on perspective to product development, team collaboration, and the technical side of bringing ideas to life.
