Registration for the 2024 Build My Future event in Des Moines is open! Build My Future is a hands-on career immersion event that highlights careers available in Iowa for high school students in Iowa. We are once again expecting an increase in the number of participating schools and students in 2024. At the 2023 Build My Future in Des Moines, we were able to host 5,600 students from 110+ schools coming from across Iowa. With your help, we featured over 20 different career pathways with hands-on activities from 100 different business exhibitors.
This year's Des Moines event will be held on Wednesday, April 17th at the Iowa State Fairgrounds.

We are also adding a new building at the Iowa State Fairgrounds as we continue to grow the event. All forms for 2024 are located on the IowaSkilledTrades.com website.
