Build a Handheld Sculpture or Functional Object

Join us for an introduction to handbuilding with clay, make a handheld sculpture or functional object.
You’ll learn the basics of forming, shaping, and decorating clay using a conceptual and material-based approach.
By the end of class, you’ll create one or more small sculptural or decorative objects while exploring design through both form and surface.

• All clay and hand-building tools
• 14 glaze colors + brushes
• Professional guidance
• Kiln firing (included in ticket price)

What is glazing?
Glazing adds color, shine, and durability to ceramics—making your piece functional, food-safe, and beautiful.

After glazing, your work will be professionally kiln-fired.
Finished pieces will be ready for pickup 2–4 weeks after the workshop.
You’ll receive an email notification once your work is ready.
