Spend a morning at Aster Garden Center learning how to build a nesting box for Western Bluebirds that you can proudly display at home or gift to Dad for Father’s Day.
All wood will be pre-cut and tools provided, making this a fun, hands-on project for beginners and experienced builders alike. You’ll leave with a completed bluebird nest box ready to install.
Along the way, Kaniksu Land Trust board member and avid birder Rich Del Carlo will share fascinating insights into the migration and nesting habits of Western Bluebirds, and explain how properly placed nest boxes help support these beautiful birds throughout our region.
Leave with a finished nest box, new knowledge, and a simple way to support local wildlife.
