Bug Music Lab for Kids ages 8 - 18

Bug Music Lab is a playful, interactive workshop series designed for children who are naturally drawn to the instruments at The Insect Asylum. Using simple, tactile instruments and guided improvisation, kids explore how sound, nature, and cooperation intersect.

Rather than teaching music “the right way,” the workshops invite kids to listen closely, experiment freely, and create together. The goal is to mirror the curiosity and diversity of insect life itself: many roles, many sounds, one shared ecosystem.

Open to kids 8-18. All minors must be accompanied by an adult. Adults can purchase thier gaurdian/observer ticket at the front desk or the ticket portal on evenbrite. No refunds but we are happy to exchange your ticket for a different event if you let us know at least 24 hours in advance that you're unable to make it.
