Bug Hunt in the Weaselhead

Join us to celebrate National Insect Week with a bug hunt!

Our Naturalist will lead you through the park to see what insects make their homes in Weaselhead Park and share some of the amazing adaptations they have to survive.

Get a close up look and help identifying the insects we find and learn how to you upload them to iNaturalists, contributing to the biodiversity collection of the park.

We will stop at various locations and conduct a leaf litter study to take a closer look at what might be hiding from plain sight. The walk will be on a mix of paved pathways and uneven trails.
