Bug Day at the Idaho Botanical Garden

Join us for a day of hands-on bug-themed booths and activities throughout the Garden. 

Bug Day is an opportunity to teach the importance of bugs in nature and to make the little creepy crawlies less scary!

 • See an observation beehive and meet a beekeeper! • Learn about insect-eating bats in Idaho! • Go on an insect safari and identify bugs that live in the garden! • Discover what macroinvertebrates are in our local waterways! • View live bugs preserved bugs and a 20-foot-long dancing praying mantis! • Food and drink vendors will be on site.
