Ania’s sharp, wry writing combined with her warm, conversational performance style make her one of the most exciting young comedians on the circuit. As well as already appearing on ITV2's The Stand Up Sketch Show and Dave’s The Comedy Guide to Life, Ania is a regular at gigs across the UK and is currently developing her debut stand up hour, Ania Magliano: Absolutely No Worries If Not, which was selected as a Guardian Culture Pick.
Her previous shows received 5 stars from Diva Magazine, and have been recommended by Comedy Central as a ‘show not to miss’. She was a Leicester Square New Act of the Year Finalist 2021, Funny Women Finalist 2020, 2Northdown New Act of the Year Finalist 2019 and Chortle Student Comedy Award Finalist 2018.
As a writer, she has written for Frankie Boyle’s New World Order (BBC2), Newsjack (BBC R4), The Now Show (BBC R4) and has contributed regularly to the Have I Got News For You Twitter account.
She has also worked with comedian and journalist Amelia Dimoldenberg on Chicken Shop Date and Amelia’s Cooking Show, featuring guests such as Ed Sheeran, Maya Jama and Chunkz. Ania has a growing social media following, including 20k followers on Twitter, and over 1 million views on Youtube with over 20k subscribers. She’s recently branched out into TikTok, amassing over 1 million likes.
