This isn’t your average barber competition—it’s a high-energy, live game show where precision, creativity, and composure are tested under pressure. Inspired by the suspense and excitement of survival-style competition shows, The Fade Games puts 30 talented barbers through 8 intense rounds of cutting, unexpected twists, and crowd-pumping challenges.
Before the competition even begins, every contestant will receive their own cinematic player introduction, complete with a private interview and custom vignette that will be featured live during the event and on stream. This is your chance to introduce yourself, represent your brand, and let everyone know why you’re the one to beat.
Once the clock starts, each round lasts 45 minutes. Contestants will be judged by a panel of four experienced judges on the quality of their haircut, including blend, precision, creativity, difficulty, and overall presentation. But there’s a catch…
Throughout each round, the host will randomly introduce Fade Game Challenges. Competitors may be asked to briefly cut with one eye covered, switch to their non-dominant hand, freeze in place, drop for a set of push-ups, or complete other fun surprises designed to test focus and adaptability. These challenges are short, safe, and add excitement without taking away from the true goal: creating an incredible haircut under pressure.
As each round ends, the lowest-scoring competitors will be eliminated until only the best remain. The final round is where the last barbers standing will showcase everything they’ve got—blends, beard work, designs, enhancements, styling, and stage presence—in one final battle for the championship.
