An expanded cultural tent will provide classes and workshops on Irish literature, language, and traditional music throughout the weekend. There will be a performance by O’Connell and Company on Sunday. James Maynard, PhD and Alison Fraser, PhD from University at Buffalo Libraries will present discussions highlighting the James Joyce Collection. This internationally renowned collection comprises more than 10,000 pages of the author’s working papers, notebooks, manuscripts, photographs, correspondence, portraits, publishing records, important memorabilia and ephemeral material, as well as Joyce’s private library.
An all-new Tír na nÓg kids’ tent will have family-friendly activities including Gaelic sing-alongs and cultural activities featuring Irish pirates including Gráinne Ní Mháille (aka Grace O'Malley) the Pirate Queen, Irish Fairy folklore, and famous locations in Ireland. Plus language lessons, a kid’s introduction to Irish dance, crafts including St. Brigid's cross, fairy wands, pirate shields, and more.
Attendees can enjoy demonstrations with the Buffalo Fenians Gaelic Athletic Association and learn about their mission to preserve Gaelic Games and Irish culture in our community.

On Sunday, the festival will open with a Mass at 10:30 a.m. under the tent, celebrated by the Bishop of Buffalo, Michael William Fisher.
