Buena Vida Fest: The Concert To Stop Diabetes is a new mission driven festival bringing together music, wellness, culture, and community in support of diabetes awareness and prevention across Central and South Texas.
Health conversations should not feel cold, distant, or unapproachable. So many families in our communities have been impacted by diabetes, whether directly or indirectly, yet these conversations are often avoided until it is too late. Buena Vida Fest was built to help change that and put prevention at the forefront.
Through live music, community engagement, wellness resources, local vendors, family friendly experiences, and storytelling, we want to create an environment that feels welcoming, uplifting, and deeply rooted in the people of our communities.
Alongside the festival, we are launching Nuestra Salud, It’s Our Choice!, a community driven awareness campaign bringing together artists, community leaders, local businesses, educators, healthcare advocates, and everyday people to help amplify the message that our health matters and that we all have a role in protecting it.
This is more than just a concert. It is a community effort.
