Insect Safari!Overview: Naturalists will embark on an insect safari around the garden! Learn all about insects, including what distinguishes an insect from other animals, parts of an insect’s body and common insects found in Georgia. They will also have the opportunity to catch and examine insects from around the garden. Naturalists will then build their very own bug hotels!

Budding Naturalist is a monthly program that will ignite children’s curiosity and interest in science and the natural world through observation, exploration, hands-on activities and data collection.
Each hour-long session will include a lesson focused on elements and processes of the natural world and a hands-on activity to reinforce the day’s lesson, consisting of observation/experimentation, data collection and analysis.
