Buddhist Meditation and Mindfulness 6 Week Course - The Eight-Fold Path
About this Event
Many people are aware of Buddhism but don't really understand its roots and practices. This 6 week course (6 sessions, each 90 minutes long, talking you through the fundamentals of this ancient spirituality) covers 8 main steps. They are -
1. Right View. Week 1
2. Right Intent. Week 2
3. Right Speech. Week 3
4. Right Action. Week 3
5. Right Livelihood. Week 4
6. Right Effort. Week 4
7. Right Mindfulness. Week 5
8. Right Concentration. Week 6
An opportunity to experience Buddhist Meditation to a greater level. Director of The Sangha House Taunton Andy Spragg has over 30 years of meditation experience and has been teaching for 20 years. Talks, meditation and written materials all included in the course. Open to beginners and experienced.
Even if you have some experience of meditation this is a great opportunity to remind ourselves of a fundamental Buddhist Practise and how to take spirituality into our busy lives . Andy’s good humoured gentle, no-jargon approach Will guide you.
Thursday evenings delivered physically at The Sangha House or via Zoom at 6pm till 7.30pm. Six Sessions (25th June, 2nd July, 9th July, 16th July, 23rd July and 30th July )
