Buck Moon. July's full moon. Named for the moment in midsummer when young bucks begin growing their antlers for the first time. It happens every July, quietly and on schedule, whether you're paying attention or not.We're paying attention. And on Wednesday, July 29th, we're marking it with dinner outside. A four-course meal in the open air, across from the Farm Market and Pizza Shack, with a menu that leans into everything July has to offer, including a nod to the cherries coming out of Sturgeon Bay.
What's on the Table:
I. Venison Carpaccio with Rutabaga, Cherries, and Luxardo Vinaigrette
II. Local Tomato Caprese Salad with Olive Oil and Vinaigrette
III. Venison Loin with Charred Gooseberry Coulis and Local German Style Potato Salad I
