Bubba Crumrine’s solo work threads a line between ambient, noise, and cantor music. Voice, electronics, and metallic objects pair with post-trauma and queer themes of discovery, protest, and hope. They seek to create a dense world of sound and story boarding on intense, ritual meditation.

In addition to solo work, they are the guitarist/composer for the bassoon-driven trio BRIAN!, multi-instrumentalist for the duo Amok & OK (with Amy Zuidema - 10/25 11:45PM AGACII), and perform in the The FMs.
Outside of performance, Crumrine has curated for Ithaca Underground since 2008, appeared as a keynote speaker at Cornell, and curated three virtual events for ESS The Quarantine Concert Series, which received a feature in The Wire.
