Emily Zaiden is the Director and Curator of the Craft in America Center in Los Angeles. She has curated more than 80 contemporary art, craft, and design exhibitions and leads the center’s public programs, educational initiatives, and digital projects, including the online Craft Video Dictionary. Her work explores craft techniques, materials, functional design, and cultural arts through both contemporary and historical perspectives. Emily holds a Master of Arts degree from the Winterthur Program in American Material Culture.
