BSIS Exposed Firearms Permit Training in Bakersfield, Kern County.
About this Event
ABOUT:
This permit will allow to carry a gun while on duty as a security officer. On average, start pay for armed security is $22 per hour! Perfect course to upgrade your pay and hourly rate!

Day 1: Classroom Training Portion
6:30am-2:30pm
Classroom training, you will learn moral & legal aspects of firearms use, nomenclature, weapons handling & shooting fundamentals, & emergency procedures.
Day 2: Firearms Range Training
8:00am-5:00pm
Range training will give you practice in safely handling & firing your weapon. You will shoot with real bullets. You must hit the target 40 out of 50 to pass.

There is no charge to reserve your spot or request training information through Eventbrite. BSIS Guard Card training is a PAID licensing training program. Course tuition and applicable licensing fees are separate.
PRICING
- $175 class fee: Pre-Registration Required. No Walkins allowed, class has to be pre-registered and paid (limited seating)
The State & BSIS fees are not due on day of class. You can pay those fees once you want those steps completed.
- $110 State Fee:
- $75 Range Fees: payable at range day for use of gun, ammunition to qualify, target, materials, 1 caliber and gun use
- $117 Livescan/fingerprints
- $65 Assessment Test / Psychological test paid when you schedule for test
State fees Not due day of class: can pay when you ready to process those fees.
