BSides have always been about bringing people together and making connections that you might have for the next five minutes, fifty years or anything in between!

BSides has hosted over 1,000 conferences in 252 cities across 65 countries with a focus on IT cyber security.

As awareness around the need for ICS/OT cyber security continues to increase, so does the need to have a place where everyone can come together to learn and share on how to defend critical infrastructure and our other ICS/OT environments we rely on every day in our daily lives.

-> Chemical refineries

-> Light commuter rail

-> Manufacturing facilities

-> The list is never-ending!!!!!!!!!!!

Hence, BSidesICS/OT is born.

And, like the original BSides being "birthed" from a much larger IT cyber security conference, BSidesICS will be held the day before S4. For those of you not familiar, the S4 conference is like the RSA/BlackHat of the ICS/OT world.

So we'll have folks that attend S4 that can come and hang out with us the day before.

But also, we hope that even more people come to BSidesICS from outside the community to learn what ICS/OT cyber security is all about.

We'll see everyone in Tampa on Feb. 10th!
