Introduction
This innovative one-day educational event is designed for GPs, Advanced Practitioners, Practice Nurses, Pharmacists and other primary care professionals with an interest in allergy. The programme focuses on the practical diagnosis, prevention and management of allergic disease and explores how primary care can work with specialist services to develop a sustainable neighbourhood model for allergy care. Based on feedback from previous events, the day combines expert presentations, practical workshops, case-based discussions and opportunities for networking.
This event supports the development of integrated allergy pathways, improved patient outcomes and enhanced access to care within local communities involved in the GP with Extended Role Program.
