The Burke Lake District has reserved a Scouting America booth at the Fairfax City Fall Festival to promote the scouting program. Adult leaders (scouters) and scouts from Districts in the Green Service Area are invited to staff the station. Scouts will demonstrate their knot-tying and first-aid skills. This is an opportunity for units to market themselves and raise funds by selling popcorn or other items, and for scouts to show off their scouting skills.
