SPECIAL HOUSE CONCERT ANNOUNCEMENT!!!
The universe has smiled on HC@H's once again. Over the last several years I have had the thrill and honor of hosting the annual Indiana Fingerstyle Guitar Festival. Through that experience I’ve been blessed to meet and hear some of the best Fingerstyle Guitar players in the game. Friends and Neighbor, Bryce Mullins and Brian Henke are two such players. Here's the story....
I met Bryce several years ago at the Indiana Finger Style Guitar Festival. He was one of many contestants. That year and every year since I have watched him dazzle audiences and judges alike as he earned award after award.
This last year Bryce was invited back both as a judge for the contest and to be one of the headliners at the big Saturday night concert the ended the festival.
Aaaaaaand that's when I got to meet the amazing Brian Henke!
Brian was also both a judge for the festival and a headliner for that Saturday night show, same as Bryce.
So we're all sitting around the green room that afternoon and the conversation turns from one guitar related conversation to another until somehow we all decide it would be FaNtAbULiFic if we all did a show together... and here we go!!!
Each of these incredibly talented artists can truly be considered headliners, so to get them both on the same stage for one evening of music is truly phenomenal.
I sure hope YOU can join us.
BRYCE MULLINS
A fingerstyle guitarist from Batesville, Indiana, Bryce received his bachelor’s degree for classical guitar performance from the College Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati. Bryce also received his master’s degree in classical guitar performance from Austin Peay State University. His influences include Tommy Emmanuel, Chet Atkins, Merle Travis, Jerry Reed, and Steve Howe. Bryce is a teacher at Miss Shannon’s Music Studio, and performs solo fingerstyle concerts, weddings, and lead guitar for The Yorkridge Boys.
In 2017 Bryce released his debut album ‘First Sip’, which contains twelve original instrumental songs performed on acoustic guitar. Bryce released his Christmas album “Evergreen” in November of 2019, and his newest album “Cask Strength” was released in 2021. A frequent top-5 finisher in the Indiana Fingerstyle Guitar Competition, Bryce has also been featured at the Chet Atkins Appreciation Society events in Nashville, TN.

BRIAN HENKE
IPMA (International Pagan Music Awards) Best Male Artist winner both in 2019 and again in 2020, Brian Henke composes and performs his music like a painter putting images on canvas, a kind of sonic shaman, drawing his inspiration from the world around him. His unique guitar style has been called everything from Folk to New Age to Neo-Classical to Pastoral or as Brian likes to call it “a big stewpot of everything, stirred up, simmered and served to taste.”
Throughout all of his music is an undercurrent of spirituality and mysticism that Brian says is very much a part of the creative process. Because of this he has received radio air play all over the world on shows as varied as WKSU’s “Folk Alley”, International Pagan Radio and John Dilberto’s “Echoes.” A winner of many acoustic and electric guitar awards, he has also been a finalist in the prestigious National Fingerstyle Contest in Winfield, Kansas, the National Guitarmageddon regional finals in Boston and in New Age Reporters Top 10 for 2006 and 2010.
