The annual Broad Ripple Village Association (BRVA) Board of Directors election will take place at the Fall Member Meeting on Tuesday, November 11 at 7pm at the Indy Art Center auditorium (820 E 67th Street). The BRVA Board of Directors provides guidance, oversight, and hands-on expertise in all facets of the organization. Through its volunteers and standing committees, BRVA monitors developments in the Village and works with city officials to promote neighborhood safety and improvements, communicates with its stakeholders on activities in the neighborhood, promotes its member businesses to the community, and hosts numerous special events. These activities are designed to maintain and enhance the livability and desirability of Broad Ripple as a premier neighborhood and cultural district within Indianapolis.
Per bylaws, the BRVA Board shall consist of no fewer than seven (7) and no more than fifteen (15) Directors, with the exact number being determined by the Board of Directors. Each member serves a 3-year term and each year 5 director terms expire. New board members are elected via a slating process. The public was invited to apply in September. The governance committee interviewed applicants and nominated five candidates based upon those best suited for the current needs of the board. We now ask the membership to approve the slate.

Bo Boroski
Bo Turner
BRVA Resident and Business Members in good standing are invited to attend the Fall Member Meeting to cast their vote to approve the slate in person. Non-members may become members or renew their membership online in advance or at the BRVA table at the event.
Per the BRVA bylaws, absentee voting shall be made available for one week prior to the election for those not able to attend. Absentee ballots must submitted by 5pm on Tuesday, November 11. Absentee voting will be administered virtually. When voting online, please be aware that only one vote per membership account may be made and the contact info included on the ballot must match that of the current membership profile.
