The Brutes USPC Santa Slay Powerlifting Meet will be held on Saturday December 10,2022 at Brute Strength Gym located at 836 Poplar Hall Drive, Norfolk, VA 23502. This USPC meet, in addition to offering a "full meet" option (back squat, bench press and deadlift option for all divisions/ages), will additionally offer "BD" (bench press & deadlift), bench press only and deadlift only options. You may also ADD a "bench press only" and "deadlift only" option as a Crossover Division (explained below) for an additional fee for another shot at records and medals at the end of the day. As always, we will offer lifters the ability to compete in either the Sleeves (bare or knee sleeves), Raw with Wraps (knee wraps) or Single Ply.
Equipment:
*Texas Squat Bar for all Squats
*Texas Power Bar for all Bench Press
*Texas Deadlift Bar for all Deadlifts
*Competition DynaBody Bench
Monolift- NO walkout will be required on squats for ALL divisions!

Weigh Ins will be on Friday, the day before the meet at the following times:
9:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. and again from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
We will be holding to a strict weigh in schedule which will be crucial to staying on time. No late weigh ins will be allowed.
No Saturday weigh ins. No exceptions.
