Let’s get creative! Immerse yourself in an artistic class inspired by our unique estuary ecosystem. Brushes on the Bay is an after-hours painting session with local artist and marine science educator Dana Donkle. Enjoy light refreshments and snacks, observe the Discovery Center’s animals, and bring them to life on your very own canvas. It’s the perfect fusion of art, science, and fun. We suggest making a dinner reservation nearby to complete your evening.
For this UV reactive jellyfish themed class, your ticket includes everything you need such as a canvas, paint, and paintbrushes. Space is limited so reserve your ticket ahead of time. This class is open to students 12+, and is enjoyable for all ages! Please note that your painting will not glow in the dark but will glow when exposed to UV light!
