About the workshop:

Uncial script is a style of writing characterized by its rounded, somewhat uniform letter shapes. I started with a broad-edge pen using Uncial Script, a style I’ve been perfecting ever since. In this workshop, we’ll dive into the Uncial script using a brush, exploring how to bring your work to life by playing with letterforms. Let’s discover how this unique tool can add a lively, expressive touch to your calligraphy to create stunning effects that really stand out.

Workshop Highlights:

• Learn how to hold and use a flat brush effortlessly
• Explore how best to use the brush angle, pressure, and give beauty to unique strokes
• Implement dry brush technique with Uncial and explore random colours together
• Create a calligram to finish off

What you will get at the time of the workshop:

Lots of fun and memories along with Coffee and Cake. You won’t need to get much, except your enthusiasm and curiosity to learn the art form.

Note: 

• Brush, Paints, Paper would be provided for your ease during the class for use
• This is a HANDS-ON workshop, lasting 2.5 hours, so there will be some time taken to learn letters according to individual pace
