The Brunswick Santa Crawl is everything we love about this community, wrapped up in one night.
The Coastal Georgia Insider exists because this coast is full of good people, good businesses, and good reasons to come together, and the holidays are the perfect excuse to prove it. On Saturday, December 19th, we're taking over seven of downtown Brunswick's best bars for one night of holiday cheer, all in support of a cause that deserves every bit of attention we can give it.
Grab a wristband, gather your crew, and make your way down Newcastle Street. Dress festive, snap some photos, and enjoy drink specials at every stop. However you spend the night, 100% of net proceeds go straight to Morningstar Children & Family Services.
Why Morningstar?
Morningstar began in 1946, when Brunswick local J. Ardell Nation dreamed of a home for Georgia boys with nowhere else to go. Today, Morningstar cares for foster boys ages 12 to 21 who have experienced abuse, neglect, or abandonment, welcoming them from all over the state. It's the only residential program in Georgia serving developmentally delayed youth, many with autism and complex health needs, and it gives those boys far more than a safe place to sleep. Through counseling, life skills training, and workforce coaching, Morningstar helps every boy in its care heal and prepare for adulthood.
This December, we're raising a glass, raising some money, and raising a little holiday spirit for a place that's quietly changing lives right here in our own backyard. We'd love for you to be part of it.
